Who can help me if I decide to appeal?
Free assistance
in providing counselling and representation and submitting requests to the
Veterans Review and Appeal Board are provided by:
- the Bureau of Pensions Advocates in the Department of Veterans Affairs.

If you wish to use your own lawyer or other representative or choose to represent yourself,
you should contact the Veterans Review and Appeal Board in writing and we
will advise you how to proceed. If you choose to do so, you are responsible
for any of the costs involved.
