Paperless Decisions

The Veterans Review and Appeal Board is taking steps to modernize service delivery methods and reduce paper use. The Board is transitioning to paperless decisions through My VAC Account. If you have registered for paperless delivery, you’ll now only receive decisions digitally through your My VAC Account. 

If you have any questions or concerns related to the paperless process, you can contact the Board through the My VAC Account secure messaging portal, by phone toll free at 1-800-450-8006 or TTD at 1-833-998-2060. 

If you have not yet registered to go paperless, we encourage you to do so, to receive your correspondence digitally in a timely manner. To do this, log into your My VAC Account. If you do not have a My VAC Account, you can create one. After your email address has been verified, follow these steps: 

  • On your overview page, under “My profile” select “Manage notifications”.
  • You will be directed to a page titled “Communication preferences”.  
  • Toggle on “Go paperless”.
